TERMS OF USE

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By registering for Image2Beam, verifying your email, accessing the application, or using the Community Gallery, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Image2Beam Free Access

Image2Beam's core image-preparation application is offered without a paid subscription. Free access may require a verified email address and acceptance of these Terms.

Free access does not guarantee that every current or future feature will always remain available, unchanged, or free of charge. Any future paid feature or service must be clearly presented before a charge is incurred.

3. Accounts, Verification, and Devices

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and maintaining access to it. Image2Beam may use email verification to activate or recover your account.

A free Image2Beam account is currently intended for use on up to two activated devices. Device activation may use a generated, non-human-readable identifier or hash. You may not intentionally bypass or manipulate device limits or account controls.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use Image2Beam for lawful personal and commercial laser-engraving work. You may not:

• gain unauthorized access to systems, databases, administrator functions, or another user's account;
• circumvent device, rate, verification, moderation, or security controls;
• use abusive automation, scraping, malware, or traffic intended to disrupt the service;
• use Image2Beam to violate applicable law or another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

5. Laser Engraving Results and Safety

BEAM Analysis, 3D Illusion suitability scores, material previews, dither recommendations, and other guidance are image-preparation tools. They do not guarantee a particular physical engraving result.

You remain responsible for safe machine operation, proper ventilation, fire precautions, material compatibility, testing, and the actual settings used on your equipment.

6. Community Gallery

Verified users may be allowed to submit engraving results, settings, notes, original images, prepared images, and project information for possible publication.

Your ownership

You keep ownership of content you submit. Image2Beam does not claim ownership of your engraving photos or artwork.

Permission to display

If you submit content for public display, you grant Image2Beam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, format, reproduce, and publicly display that submitted content for operation and promotion of the Image2Beam Community Gallery and related Image2Beam services.

Your responsibility

You must have the right or permission to publish anything you submit. Gallery submissions may be reviewed, approved, rejected, unpublished, or removed for spam, misleading information, rights complaints, privacy concerns, unlawful content, or other violations of these Terms.

7. Image2Beam Intellectual Property

The Image2Beam name, site design, application interface, original software, documentation, workflow designs, BEAM Analysis branding, graphics, and other original Image2Beam materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Image2Beam software or branding.

8. Depth2Beam and AI Credits

Depth2Beam is a separate Image2Beam-related service for AI-assisted depth-map generation. Image2Beam free access does not include unlimited AI generation. Depth2Beam may use credits because AI processing has a real compute cost. Any pricing or credit terms should be shown before purchase or use.

9. Service Availability and Updates

Image2Beam may be updated, improved, repaired, temporarily unavailable, or changed over time. No uptime guarantee is provided unless a separate written agreement explicitly says otherwise.

10. Suspension or Termination

Image2Beam may suspend or revoke access for abuse, fraud, security threats, intentional circumvention of access controls, unlawful use, repeated rights violations, or serious violations of these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Image2Beam is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. No promise is made that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every browser or laser workflow, or suitable for every image, material, or machine.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Image2Beam is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, damaged materials, failed engravings, machine damage, or business interruption arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as Image2Beam evolves. The effective date at the top will be changed when revisions are made. Material changes may also be announced through the website, application, or account email.
