LASER TYPES

PREP FOR THE LASER YOU ACTUALLY OWN.

CO₂, diode and fiber systems behave differently. Image preparation should reflect the target machine instead of assuming one universal setup.

CO₂

Common for wood, acrylic and many coated or organic materials. Spot size and material response influence useful resolution.

Diode

Often used for wood, coated surfaces and hobby workflows. Optical spot shape and power density matter.

Fiber

Common for metals and marking applications. Fine spot sizes can support different artwork and vector strategies.
